I wasn't able to find an edit link anywhere on the page. I followed the instructions stated on the module page, but I can't seem to get this to work. I tried both the stable and dev version and I tried placing the edit section filter in every position, but still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi - Your support request was posted over a year ago... so I'm guessing you figured it out or moved on. For the sake of others experiencing this...

I'm guessing that you are expecting the edit link next to fields that you added to the content type. This module is only set to show in the Body field. In addition, the "edit" link will only show next to headers that are in the Body field.

For example, the Body field needs to look something like this:

<h1>Header One</h1>

Text, text, text

<h2>Header Two</h2>

Text, text, text

Again, the module is not set to show "edit" links for headers in non-Body fields.

It actually used to show edit links for non-Body fields, but they did not work correctly. So those links were removed. See: http://drupal.org/node/594288

If you want "edit links" for non-Body fields, that should be submitted as a feature request.
