Problem/Motivation

Edit+ has its own UpdateMarkup AJAX command for surgically replacing page elements after tempstore updates. Navigation+ now provides a shared UpdateElement command that serves the same purpose but is needed by multiple modules (ai_plus also performs async element updates).
