We started with one module to add drag and drop to Layout Builder; but once you have drag and drop, you want some inline editing too. Development initially followed the UNIX philosophy, and as new functionality was created, so were more modules. We loosely grouped these modules together by a recipe called Plus Suite. As the years drew on, Plus Suite had evolved into a page builder spread across 13 different modules.
Plus Suite was great to use, but difficult to install. Instead of continuing down this path of entropy, Plus Suite was refactored into one module: Daedalus.
How to migrate from Plus Suite to Daedalus
If you are on Plus Suite you can move onto Daedalus with the migration pathway that ships with Daedalus. It is not a normal Drupal update: Daedalus's modules have different machine names, so some things need to be renamed. It is best effort and it serves the latest releases of Layout Builder+ 3.6.x, Navigation+ 2.3.x, Edit+ 2.3.x and Tempstore+ 1.0.x; update to those first. Plan a maintenance window and rehearse on a copy of the site.
