As per my discussion with the current maintainer of the module Marc, I would like to request permission to become a co-maintainer for the project. Plans would be to maintain the current module and fix bugs caused by the constant design changes made by environment Canada until their html becomes more stable, to recommend more efficient ways of using the existing code, and to provide a port for the module to version 6.

I can confirm that I have been speaking to Jeremie with regards him becoming a co-maintainer of the project. He has already started work on a drupal 6 port and I do not currently have the tiem to keep this module update. Once Jeremie has CVS access the module will be updated to Drupal and we will collectively in a position be able to keep up to date with changes made by Environment Canada in terms of layout of their weather pages.
