Blog postings are automatically turned into products.....how is this happening?
- there is no option in the /admin/content/types/blog to enable/disable this function.
- when I create the blog entry, there is no mention that it is about to become a product but it lists a price of $0 once it is created. I can then go in and edit it and the normal ecommerce options are there for the blog entry...so I can disable it as being a product.
But I have to fix this as most blog submitters don't have the knowledge or patience or desire to do all this extra work.
Is this not bizarre?

mdowsett commentedI had formfilter filtering out the 'product' info on the blogs....and that seemed to enable them as a product even tho the default was set to 'none'. So now it's showing on the form but as long as you don't touch it, it works
I can't find a way to tell it to never have the option to turn other, non-product content-types into ecommerce products.
