Is it possible to use the subscription and recurring payments features to give paying clients access to publish content and use features (that also can be optional for an additional fee) in their own space on a site?

Yes this will be possible by the time of the final release. I have secured funding for this feature to be implemented and I am just going thought the final aspects of getting this finalized.

All going well I hope to have this all done in the next couple of weeks.
