Is there a way to add an additional field for a given product? For example, all of the products I am selling come in different flavors. Rather then make a chocalate, vanilla, strawberry, cookie dough version of the same 10 products (A possability of 40 products) can I just have the customer pick from a drop down specifying the flavor on the original 10 products?

I wish this functionality was already built into product module. Until then you could use something like flexinode and make those nodes also product nodes.
