eC Charges 4

Guys,

i have some insights about eC Charges:

API

The whole point on a generic charge creator is about flexibility. But the core of the module should be the FILTER system: it will define the general rule apply the charge. It should load filter plugins created by other modules, There are basic 4 types of arguments:
** NODE (product weight, product quantity, product category, product type, stock)
** USER (role, address)
** TRANSACTION (total amount, payment type, "send as present" option)
** SITE/GENERIC (day of the week, month, external variables)

It must allow users to add any qty of filters on any charge, combining them.

The API need to provide:
* A form generator: almost all filters need some fine tuning
* Node and transaction notices: display notices like "Regular price: $50, Premium users save: $14!" on certain nodes or "Anonymous users pay 10% more" accros the site.
* The filter formula: the callback function to calculate the charge

Basic set of filters

We should discuss what filters are relevant to users and include it on eC charge.

Other modules

If it the filter API is working, its time to merge some modules, or make them use the new API:
* Role discount
* Regions
* Tax
* Discount by Quantity (external module)
* Shipping
