I am a hair away from integrating this into my site but I have quite a few products on a huge list and I don't have someone fulltime to maintain that list so I have to rely on importing my products names and prices through a CSV file and applying a percentage of markup based on different price points.
How long until I can expect to be able to do this?

gordon commentedATM this is not something that we are concentrating on because of the complexity of products it could be a real hit and miss affair to get the product right.
We are waiting on the importexportapi to mature a bit more, and with some redesign to how products are built and we will then be looking at developing something.

Compactman commentedIn OScommerce the modules they have built allows you to create options in order to what is coming out of the CSV file.
Example:
1. part number
2. part name
3. price
4. etc
By allowing the user to create the order gives you much flexibility. Where can I subscribe to help further my goal and improve on this support in the community.

rickvug commentedIf you are running Drupal 4.7 try the node import module and CCK together. You can then make the CCK type a product. This will get you part of the way there.

Compactman commentedThanks, I run drupal 5 but I have been interested in seeing what CCK can do for me. I'll install that later tonight and check it out.
Any other productive area's of the drupal site I can subscribe to or pay attention to would be helpful if someone has some links.
