Enabling the title as Managed Property in an ECK entity type, allows to show and rearrange the title in the entiy view modes.
However, that has actually no effect when rendering the entity. The title still always shows on top of the entity instead of the location as set in the view mode.

Hi @Yuri, just to confirm that this is in 7.x-3.x and not 7.x-2.x?

I'm 50/50 on this one; for nodes you can adjust the title position in Manage Fields (form display), and not in Manage Display (since the template puts it at the top). I would rather continue this pattern and just hide the Title as an option in the Manage Display.
