Here is my situation...
I just installed DS, ND and NDC and I am trying to create a new layout for a node type. DS looks to be working except my Images won't display (I'm using ImageCache) and have images in a CCK field.
Images won't show up for me in any region on the nodes where I have used DS to take over the layout.
I did notice this message on the Node Displays >> Info section
"If you have a problem with the content not being rendered through DS, please read http://drupal.org/node/572614. "
Should I be headed down that track? That track looks daunting for me as I haven't really done anything custom on the site. If it is the route I have to take, can somebody walk me through it?

swentel commentedHrm, do you have
A) ND cck enabled
B) content permissions enabled ?
Not sure what else could cause this problem ..

tribe_of_dan commentedThanks for the quick reply. I justrealised no CCK fields are displaying... only core fields (like title and body) and code fields (eg read more, test etc.)
Yet both ND CCK is Enabled and so is Content Permissions. I've tried it now with the dev versions and the normal versions, same problem. Baffled!

tribe_of_dan commentedReinstalled on another site and its working. There must be some sort of problem with my 'Sandbox' site. Assuming the problem is not with DS.

andymcgrew commentedI'm having a very similar problem. CCK fields (link and text area) added to the Book Page content type are not being rendered in IE8 or Opera10.51, but they are being rendered in Firefox 3.6 with no problem. As in, when I view the page source in IE8 and Opera, the code for the CCK fields is missing, but in Firefox 3.6 the code is there and displays as styled (individual class styling added for each additional field).
I'm 99% confident that this is related to having upgraded from Drupal 6.15 to 6.16. I upgraded a couple days ago because of the red security warnings at the top of admin pages. I'm just starting to build my site (amateur here), and I'm working on a live site hosted by mediatemple. I say 99% confident because I honestly don't remember for a fact if the CCK fields were displaying before the update, because I only work on the site once or twice a week and it's hard to remember everything. But I had added and styled these fields prior to the upgrade, and I really think I would have noticed this problem before now. I've been testing with IE8 every step of the way, and I'm 99% confident that I had checked cross-browser styling when I added these additional fields.
I've searched the forums and seem something about a similar problem due to having Comcast as an ISP (http://drupal.org/node/744142), but since it renders in FireFox 3.6 I don't see how this problem could be related.
Here are my details:
Drupal 6.16
CCk 6.X-2.6
All CCK options enabled except email & filefiltermeta (works fine in Firefox 3.6)
Please let me know what other information is relevant. Thanks in advance for your time and attention.

Morten Najbjerg commentedI can confirm this. I've set up a very basic Drupal site and no CCK fields show up in Node Display. I'm not complete sure how to recreate the problem, but there appears to be some stability problems here somewhere ...
swentel commentedAnd ND cck is enabled - from http://drupal.org/project/nd_contrib ?
Morten Najbjerg commentedThe CCK fields doesn't show up in Firefox or any other browser.
I'm using Drupal 6.20

Morten Najbjerg commentedThat was a very quick answer :) Sorry no! I haven't.
Thank You! And thank you for a great module!

swentel commentedNo problem :)

askibinski commentedJust mentioning here (because it might be related) I found a issue when using imagefield + imagecache + display suite + filefield_paths.
See #1038052: Content cache is retaining wrong file path
It caused broken imagecache presets in a full node display (which required a cache clear to be rendered correctly), and changing the weight of filefield_paths to -1 fixed the problem. Not sure if that's the best solution though. Any thoughts on this?

syntheticMedia commentedI can confirm i am having the same exact problem. ND cck is installed. Fields were displaying before DS/ND. All core fields are displaying in layout as desired but no cck fields. This needs to be fixed asap otheriwse the entire suite is useless. Thanks.
drupal 6.20

wizonesolutions@everything27: See #1325706: CCK fields can lose configuration information instead, which is a more recent issue that appears to be related. Or, if you ever figuerd this out, please tell me how!

syntheticMedia commentedFortunately disabling then re-enabling finally worked for me.
