I have enabled : ds 6.x-1.x-dev , nd 6.x-2.x-dev, nd CCK 6.x-2.x-dev
When I goto admin/ds/nd/fields I get the error Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in site\sites\all\modules\contrib\ds\ds.module on line 324

The only two fields that are shown are read more and post date, all the other fields like title and cck fields are not shown

Same Problem here.
Could it be a "Node displays" (6.2x)-Problem

It's pretty normal that you only see those 2 fields on that page. That page lists only fields which are either
- defined in code in hook_ds_fields with the DS_FIELD_OVERRIDABLE key
- added via the ui on that page

All other fields should be available on say admin/ds/layout/page/full (page content type and full node build mode) to render them in a region.

I'll update the documentation on d.o and also give some more explanation on that page.

However, I can confirm that error on that page (which has another reason), looking into that now!

Fixed in dev branch, the error was in nd_cck of nd_contrib.
