I have a content type article.
I added a code-field and did not exclude this content type for this field.
When I want to assign the field to a region in DS, I can do this in a custom build mode but in my full-node build mode I do not see the code-field. I can not assign it to a region. It does not appear in the list on /admin/build/ds/layout/article/full

I'm sorry, I can't repeat this with 6.x-1.x-dev with a basic code field. Are you able to provide any more information about the configuration you have used and the modules you have installed. Also, please check you have the latest 6.x-1.x-dev installed.
