Fox Valley Drupal in conjunction with other local Drupal user groups is engaging to create a collection of site-building recipes for core and contributed modules. These recipes are meant to provide guidance in the form of documentation and instructions for building functionality in Drupal.
There are many great blog posts, training resources, and tutorials already available to the Drupal community, so our intent is not to duplicate, but rather enhance and collect the "best of" examples and keep them updated.
The Fox Valley Drupal website is being used as a way to onboard new contributors to Drupal Recipes and develop recipe content until ideas are developed enough to post in the community documentation here on Drupal.org. The current thinking is recipes here on Drupal.org will be included in the Extending Drupal section in https://www.drupal.org/docs/.
This project serves as the main issue queue for Drupal Recipes on Drupal.org and elsewhere.
