Marketplace is so new but I'm anticipating a few things in advance re: taxonomies.

1) What is the right order? The prototype at https://infrastructure.drupal.org/drupal.org-style-guide/prototype/marke... isn't clear whether it should be most popular, or alphabetical. I'll ask Leisa to weigh in on this one. Right now, most popular seems good to me.

2) Should we make use of taxonomy descriptions? I can think of some reasons why we should, and that is we can shorten 'Information architecture' to 'IA', and then explain it more fully. This of course appears whenever someone clicks on the term.

And secondary sort should probably be something other than 'oldest' ... I noticed that if tags have same number if mentions, the newest appears at the bottom. Maybe newest to oldest as secondary sort?

This does need some attention now. The tags are overpowering at http://drupal.org/marketplace-preview.

On teasers, if there are more than 3, two randoms are shown, with "and N more."

Can I ask why 'random' was chosen? I like that only displaying 2 tags will encourage people to keep their list of tags short, but 'popular' does make more sense.

I'll clean up the terms that are a crazyasslong mess (especially when the full list is expanded) and will create additional issues to fix some of the navigational problems.

I did random mostly because it was easy. One concern I might have with most popular is if it just shows the same generic tags for every organization.
