This notice about DrupalGap is posted to comply with the procedures for Taking over unsupported (abandoned) projects.

It is posted to inquire whether the project/theme is still being maintained.

The reason I am asking is that:

  • The project is not marked as ready for Drupal 9 and Drupal 8 is past EOL.
  • Drupal 9 compatibility fixes exists in the issue queue, but has not been acted upon.
  • Drupal 9 has a REST API in core. People should be guided to use that for headless Drupal, instead of this module.

If there is no response within two weeks, this issue will be moved to the Drupal.org project ownership issue queue with a recommendation that the project is marked as unsupported due to not being upgraded to Drupal 9. This will also open the route of the project being adopted by someone interested in upgrading it to Drupal 9.

A copy of this notice has been sent the current owner (Tyler Frankenstein) via the contact tab on the Drupal.org user profile page.

You are not aware of the JS SDK portion of this module: https://github.com/signalpoint/DrupalGap

Yes, this project is still maintained. I use it every single day, in D7.
