I have a problem with the exposed filters, i want to display in the GUI a textbox so the user can make a search based on views exposed filters. But the problem is that i couldn't make it work. I read the topic where the users had to use 7.x.1.10 for the text field to work, i installed the 7.39 version of drupal and the latest view but the problem persists.

This is what i have in the console:

views_exposed_form() - text_views_exposed_filter() must be created to assemble the text filter used by field_n_de_informe

Is there any way to solve the issue with the current framework?? Thanks in advice.

The console message is accurate in that someone needs to implement a function called text_views_exposed_filter() in DrupalGap core to make it work. Since DrupalGap core doesn't yet have a module called text, it should be created here:

src/modules/text/text.js

And the makefile(s) should be updated to include this file in the generation of the bin/drupalgap.js file.

For an example implementation of a field's exposed filter (taxonomy term reference), check out this function:

Code from above can be sampled to help build the text_views_exposed_filter() function. Luckily a text filter will be much simpler than the taxonomy term reference filter.

Regarding Views Exposed Filters within DrupalGap, after much consideration I've decided to abandon support and further development on the topic. The more flexible alternative is to utilize Views Contextual Filters within DrupalGap instead.
