Hello
I would like to know what's the status of the different map rendering modules implemented in drupalgap until now. I've experimented the drupal "geofield map" module with geofield storage and they work inside drupalgap with geofield module, but this seems to me to be too basic. I've given a look at the code of leaflet and openlayers modules for dg; they look quite the same and this let me suppose that they aren't complete isn't it? On the other side "geofield_gmap" of dg, should be the counterpart of gmap module inside drupal (correct me if I'm wrong), looks more complete, but I've red that gmap is considered a legacy module, so it would be better to focus on something newer, like the other 2 above...
-Can anybody give me a better picture of the dev status of these drupalgap modules, what they do and what they can't etc?
-Since Geofield Map for drupal doesn't seem to have a correspondent DG module (but the map is anyway displayed, at least inside the web app), is there any chance of letting other map rendering modules work inside DG without a proper module? Or is that display mode strictly related to its very basic functions (just mark on a map)?
Thank you
Kinmen

tyler.frankenstein commentedUse geofield for the best support, geofield_map comes bundled in geofield. geofield_gmap is a special widget for geofield, and has nothing to do with gmap. Leaflet and OpenLayers both just forward along to geofield for now, until someone contributes to there improvement.
(geofield + geofield_map) + geofield_gmap = best support
