The content type of the node has a title, a body and two taxonomy_term_reference, one single value options select and one multivalue autocomplete free tagging, no comments. The node/% page for an existing node displays only the title. I noticed that in node_page_view_pageshow, upon node_load success, the content attribute of build object which is node.content has nothing in it. The node object is in the attribute 'node' of build object, but at the end of drupalgap_render_page(), when the code is looping through the output to theme some of the elements including the 'node' element, there is no theme exists to theme this element. I am not sure how the fields in the node were supposed to be added to the output. Please help! Thanks!

It seems that the function drupalgap_entity_render_content(entity_type, entity) should be called to put the field content into node.content but was never called.

Have you set the DrupalGap display mode for your content type(s)? http://drupalgap.org/node/184
