Hello. With the official release from views_bonus 5.x-1.2-alpha1 2007-Aug-16 19.52 KB (and the dev version) it gives this error:

Modules missing
The following error must be resolved before you can continue the installation process:
The views_bonus module is required but was not found. Please move it into the modules subdirectory.

One or more required modules are missing. Please check the error messages and try again.

It's boring for a profil install ;)

The error message is self explanatory. You need to upload that module before installing.
