Going to admin/config/development/generate/content and checking "Use Drupal Ipsum for content" then submitting form, generates regular devel_generate-ed nodes, but none with Drupal Ipsum content. Instead, the following error shows (in multiples, depending on how many nodes were generated).

Notice: Undefined variable: lang in drupal_ipsum_devel_generate_node_presave() (line 118 of /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/mysite/sites/all/modules/contrib/drupal_ipsum/drupal_ipsum_devel_generate.module).

The version of devel being used is 7.x-1.3

Fixed in dev. Sorry, didn't make it into 2.3 release though...
