Since upgrading to 4.7.2 Drupal allows multiple repeat voting in polls. There seems to be no ryhme or reason: sometimes I can vote five straight times, sometimes every day for a week from the same computer, sometimes when logged in and then again when I log out, sometimes I can vote until I refresh a page. Polling worked perfectly in 4.6.x.

This will be somewhat dificult to test.
I've tried on HEAD with login and logout and I could not reprodue it.

Can you do some tests with HEAD? Thanks

I also tried logging out, refreshing page, etc with 5.x, and cannot reproduce the problem. I even tried with multiple browsers, so I have multiple sessions. Shot of my voting attempts attached. Please reopen if you can reproduce.

I haven't seen the Polling issue since upgrading to 5.x
I just took a look at my current poll which has 120 votes and it has no duplicate IP addresses.
The only time I see the issue now is when my ISP changes my DHCP based IP address, an issue for any public IP based polling system.
