In Drupal 6 and earlier, you could change the theme from the admin interface. In earlier builds of Drupal 7, that was the same. But recently, I can't change the default theme from Garland. Even if I put a contrib theme into the sites/all/themes folder it still doesn't work. Do I now have to change some php coding or something?

ultimateboy commentedI dont really know what you are seeing.. The IA has changed a bit.. but you can still change your theme via /admin/appearance. I just gave it a try and cannot duplicate the issue. I can change themes just fine, and any themes added to sites/all/themes still show up in the list..
