I've recently started seeing weird behavior in some 'administer' operations.
For example, if I go to access control and press 'Save Permissions' I get logged out and no changes are saved.

When I look at the log I see:
Type access denied
Date Saturday, February 11, 2006 - 2:34pm
User Anonymous
Location /admin/access
Message admin/access denied access.
Severity warning

However, the user (me) isn't an anonymous user. I'm an admin user. I looked at the tables users, users_roles, roles and permissions and nothing looks odd. Up until recently I could do any admin operation - this seems to have started after I turned on caching (from administer > settings) and then off. But this doesn't go away even if the cache table is empty.

Do you have adsense ads showing on the admin pages? I get that if they're showing on admin pages -- remember that adsense tries to retrieve the page the ad is showing on, so that the adsense server can figure out what the page is.
