Problem/Motivation

The main branch dropped the Article and Basic page content types recently. If a user is setting up their site and they get onto admin/config/workflow/workflows/manage/editorial?destination=/admin/config/workflow/workflows and then click the Select button for content types in the This workflow applies to section they see an empty dialog modal:

The same problem applies to taxonomies, out of the box, does not provide any default vocabulary anymore.

Steps to reproduce

  • drop the database and install a fresh site based on the current main branch
  • enable the content moderation module
  • go onto admin/config/workflow/workflows/manage/editorial?destination=/admin/config/workflow/workflows
  • click the Select button for Content types in the This workflow applies to section

Proposed resolution

Add the same text like on admin/structure/types if there are no content type available to select (the same pattern should be applied if there are no media type, content block types, or taxonomy term types - and the labels of the following example for content types adjusted accordingly) :

No content types available. Add content type.

"Add content type" should also be a link pointing to admin/structure/types/add

Remaining tasks
