On drupal.org I can set my notificatiosn to "enabled" without having supplied an email address. I am authenticated via drop.org.

Not sure how to fix this one. Even if users use DA we should make sure mail info is required. For the Drupal ID it would be easy to change it to transfer the mail info along with the user data.

In cases where the DA doesn't tag along an email we should just place the use logging in to the edit account page and require them to enter the information.
