There is no active maintainer for Serialization. This creates a significant roadblock to receiving code review and commit-readiness checks for Serialization components. As this is a lower-level API with no UI, and isn't currently a sexy/flashy initiative, this subsystem goes a bit unnoticed. I would like to have some additional "official" involvement to help advocate for this subsystem and move along some important but stalled initiatives.
My Drupal.org profile provides a CV of my open-source contribution and track record of contribution to core and contrib.
I also propose removing damiankloip from this subsystem as he is no longer active.

From what I've seen on other maintainer tickets
Can you comment on the issue to confirm that you've read the
, and that you understand and accept the responsibilities for the subsystem maintainer role?

I'm at +1 for this btw, worked on a few tickets with @bradjones1

alexpottCan we do the @damiankloip removal in a separate issue? Because then we can address @damiankloip's Views maintainership as well.
bradjones1Fine by me. The code change is negligible, I can update the MR today.

bradjones1See #3489311: Remove damiankloip as subsystem maintainer for Serialization and Views for follow-up per #8.
