Problem/Motivation

Currently, for datetime and daterange field types it is not possible to clear time value. The workaround is to use backspace/delete key.

Proposed resolution

Add an option to the clear time value similarly like date picker.

The clear option on the date field is from the browser - not Drupal

I don't think there's anything we can do here

Since there hasn't been a follow up going to close out for now.

As @larowlan mentioned not sure what we can do for it.
