cilefen commentedDoes the browser console log show anything?
9.3.3 backported a jQuery UI security fix. What is the theme?
per-olav commentedThanks for your reply. I'm using the Olivero (included in core) as the theme. The browser console did log two errors:
It's probably something related to the module "quick edit" and "media/12", if I read the log correctly.
Thanks for the help.
cilefen commentedThat is good information. Please turn off JavaScript and CSS aggregation and capture that again, so we can see the real asset filenames.
per-olav commentedWhen I turn off JavaScript the issue is not shown anymore in the console log. I used about:config in Firefox to turn JS off. No difference here if CSS also is off.
per-olav commentedActually, I was able to click in the console log and the problem seems to be related to "search-block-form-2", which is deactivated.
Reactivating the search block did fix the problem! But I'm not sure why? Do I really need to have this block activated?
per-olav commentedI think everything is working again now. Restored the site from backup again. After removing the quickedit-module before upgrading, the sub-menus are working in D 9.3.3. Now I can deactivate the search-block. No more errors in console log.
Thanks for the help @cilefen! The console log was new to me, but very effective. Not really sure what the quickedit-module did, but I'm not using it so it's no issue for me.
