Images uploaded through WYSIWYGs gets deleted on cron run.
It seems they the files don't get an entry in file_managed and file_usage table.
I saw this issue listed in backdrop : https://github.com/backdrop/backdrop-issues/issues/1373
But not on d.org.
Please update me if you need more information in this.
Thanks

saurabh.tripathi.cs commentedHi @thpoul ,
It seems the issue is different. I am still facing issue in version: 8.1.7
The image uploaded through slice. We are using slice template. So it seems issue was fixed for unlimited fields but may be some fix is required for slice. Please advice if iam reporting this at right place.
Thanks

wim leersAny chance you are using translations? If so, then this is a duplicate of #2708411: [PP-1] editor.module's editor_file_reference filter not tracking file usage correctly for translations.

saurabh.tripathi.cs commented@Wim Leers , Yes that is correct, it is a duplicate of #2708411: File usage not incremented when adding new translation
