This is my first incident I've opened, so if I've done something wrong, sorry...

If an item in an RSS feed does not have a description the Source will be printed right up against the title with no spaces, breaks or anything. This makes it pretty ugly so the following will add a break for those items without descriptions.

The if statement on line 1110 in aggregator.module (in function theme_aggregator_page_item()) should have an else statement with it for items without a description. What I did was changed...

if ($item->description) {
   $output .= '  <div class="description">'. $item->description ."</div>\n";
}

to....

if ($item->description) {
   $output .= '  <div class="description">'. $item->description ."</div>\n";
} else {
   $output .= "  <br />\n";
}

A good example of a RSS feed that doesn't have items with descriptions is an audioscrobbler feed (http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/rss/recent.php?user=hensleyrob). If you need any more information, just let me know, thanks!

I don't think it's a good idea to add presentational HTML as you suggest. The problem is fixable with changes to your theme's CSS file.

try adding

#aggregator .news-item .source {
  clear: both;
}

not desirable, as pointed out.
