Hello,

When we run Jmeter test case with 300 users, we are getting connection issue for few page. (PDOException: SQLSTATE[08004] [1040] Too many connections in lock_may_be_available())

There are related articles of it and we tried to apply the solution mentioned in (https://www.drupal.org/node/930876) #140 (https://www.drupal.org/node/930876#comment-8165481) but that is not helping us to fix that problem, That only bypassing message displaying in screen and logging it to log file.

We have debugged and identified that connections are remained in idle state and not getting closed automatically. Can you provide a solution of closing idle connection.?

Thanks,
Amit

What are the maximum connections allowed by your database server?

maximum connections allowed is 300 as of now. We are using Jmeter and checking with 200 users. Looks like connections are not released. Connection stayed in idle state only.

Also, have you made any tuning adjustments to your database server?

Try to change your semaphore table engine type to "Memory" instead of "InnoDB or MyIsam".
