I recently noticed a discrepancy between the content types listed in the Admin Menu's "Structure->Content types" option and the types listed on the "node/add/' page. The listing provided via the Admin menu correctly lists all types, while the "node/add" page omits several and contains several duplicates.

I've checked the node_types table, which would appear to be the datasource and it contains the correct information, no duplicates or ommissions. Is there another data source for the "node/add" page? I have tried reindexing the node_types table, but that does not resolve this issue.

Appending the machine name of one of the missing content types to the "node/add" URL (such as anysite.org/node/add/any-content-type) does result in bringing up the correct content entry form, so this appears to be a UI problem rather than a super critical bug. Still, it is of some concern to my client, who has unfortunately noticed it while looking over my shoulder .

Any thoughts or other input would be appreciated.

@deastlack

I'm not sure what you trying to say, basically "Structure" section is for managing your content configuration like adding additional fields or display order of fields etc. and "node/add" is from you just add the content (static/text) which you want.

Support requests are never major.

Have you flushed cache and rebuilt permissions?
