I followed the upgrade instructions with 7.22: I put the site in maintenance mode, copied all the files from 7.22 to the site, ran upgrade.php, and then put the site back in service. When I go to Reports, it still says that I'm running 7.15.
The one thing that I did not do was to delete all the old files before copying in the new ones. I specified overwrite for all the new files.
Do I still have a file somewhere that identifies the site as running 7.15? Or have I got a different problem? Any help would be appreciated. I've done the upgrade from several of the releases > 7.15, but always get the same results.

hpaumit commentedI have a variation of this in that I updated from 7.4 to 7.22 and it does not seem to recognize the update when I check the Reports. In fact it seems to indicate that I have 7.2 installed on the Status report page. In my case I did delete all old files from the Drupal directory and did upload files from the 7.22 archive (yes I did double check) before running the updater. The update process seemed to run smoothly and I thought everything was fine until checking the logs/reports pages to check for trouble. Can anyone shed some light on what might be happening here? Thanks!

creact commentedSame problem. Updated from 7.20. System status still indicates 7.20 after installing 7.22

catchPlease search your installation folder for the version number that's shown on the update screen - you might have something odd like a core module in sites/all/modules for example.

dkelly60 commentedI have the same problem updating from 7.14 to 7.23 I deleted all files copied the new ones and ran update. Nothing was updated but the update appeared to run ok. The version is now listed as 7.2 and it keeps telling me I need a security update.
