I am displaying nodes in a views3.x view which contain several taxonomy fields. by default the entries in the rows are linked. When I drill down by clicking on the linked taxonomic term a view appears showing teasers of nodes which has the linked term in it. Good so far, but the view shows only one teaser per page.

I have cloned the taxonomy/term%1 view which ships with drupal and modified it to use fields and the table layout, displaying all items. I use the view clone for my initial drill down display and it works well.

My question is "where is the teaser view being generated?" It is not listed in the views manager page and I have not found any indication of it in the taxonomy module.

Can this taxonomy display be modified to show multiple items per page?

Alternatively, can you tell me how to attach a different view to the linked term? I have created a drill-down view to which I can pass a parameter and get the multi-teaser display that I need

Found a solution, though its a bit on the strange side.

  1. Enable the taxonomy/term view that ships with the Views module.
  2. Change the pager from "full pager" to "display all items"
  3. Save the view
  4. Change the pager setting back to "full pager" from "display all items"
  5. Save the view

The pager should now work as expected.

BTW In as much as the Taxonomy Term view does not appear in the Feature building interface list of views, it cannot be packaged in a feature and the above steps must be performed on each drupal installation, unless someone either fixes this view's anomaly or Features includes this view, or another packaging solution comes into general use.
