drupal-7.x-dev overlay: Add shortcut (-) and (+) have disappeared

After updating 7.x-dev, I cannot reproduce the issue...
Can you give more details?
Have you tried to reproduce on a fresh install?
Are the link missing everywhere or only at some places?

I'm using 7.0 and I have the same issue. I just realized today that there's no more +/- links, and I have no idea when they have disappeared. I uninstalled quite about everything, changed themes, uninstalled and installed shortcut, dashboard & toolbar again (don't know if those others have anything to do with it), rebuilt theme registry, cleared cache, but no change. The links are lost everywhere, not just in some places.

I had 8 shortcuts and I hadn't realized there's limitation of 7, can going over this limit have anything to do with it?

When I posted the last message, I removed items from the shortcut links so I had only 5 there. There was no immediate change then, but today those +'s and -'s are back.

I am new to drupal. A couple of days ago I installed version 7.4 and just noticed that I am not seeing that +/- shortcut link. I only have 2 shortcuts.

It might be useful for people experiencing this to say what theme you are using for admin pages. Note that only some themes (mainly Seven) display these icons at all: #674394: The add/remove shortcut buttons look bad and don't appear in most themes besides Seven
