In Drupal 7 RC4 there's a typo in ssh file transfer code that prevents using the ssh method. See the attached patch. It's introduced in the last 2010-12-01 commit to includes/filetransfer/ssh.inc

Is it critical bug? :-(

Now I see it's fixed in #1010506: FileTransfer doesn't properly handle any advanced settings nor the ssh username.

Also it's a duplicate of #1009162: Can't use SSH connection method at all.
