Here is a small feature request that I would like to get implemented in drigg module as soon as possible:
We can see that if scoop doesn't get sufficient number of votes in a given time frame it gets moved to archived section. And in archived section it remains on the site as long as until some privileged user or admin remove it manually. Archived posts could be spammy scoops which can ruin your site reputation in SEs and to the end user.
Instead of manually deleting archived posts, there should be some feature which deletes all archived posts automatically after certain time period mentioned by user in Drigg admin panel. This way lot of spam can be washed off of the site before it makes any adverse effect on the site.
I hope this feature will get implemented soon.

mercmobily commentedHi,
The best way to go about it is to configure drigg so that it doesn't show the /archive link, AND then configure your HTTP server so that /archived doesn't work.
However, till then, I will leave this as a request.
Bye,
Merc.
