So I've reinstalled Drigg and set it up according to the instructions on Drigg-code.org (http://www.drigg-code.org/pages/download_and_install). So far, things seem to work flawlessly - I can create new Scoops without a problem. The only problem is trying to create Scoops by importing an RSS feed!

Here's what I did...

1) Added a feed source with the Feed Aggregator
2) Ran cron and saw that the source works - I can see feed items being imported via Feed Aggregator
3) Now I go back to ../aggregator/sources/1/configure to configure "Drigg RSS feeder" settings
4) Checked the box, entered 1 as UID (for admin), selected a custom Category term I created in Taxonomy, added an auto tag and saved it

No problems so far.

5) Ran cron again... I don't see any nodes being created as a Scoop in PUB or UNPUB!

I checked Drigg RSS import settings...

- Time offset is 120
- Comma Separated list of tags: empty
- "Set stories as "published" (not promoted) by default" is CHECKED

Any suggestions on how I can get RSS working?

Okay here's a clarification. It turns out the scoops have been imported... I see them in "../admin/content/node"

However, they are not "Drigg published" even when I checked that option to "set stories as published." There are listed under "Upcoming scoops". How do I Publish these Scoops?

(These scoops are however, published in Drupal status.)

(I don't see them under Drigg queue - PUB or UNPUB).

Turns out, this issue is a non-issue...

I had to make a tweak in the Drigg settings under "Promotion" settings and lower the "How many votes before a story goes to the home page?:" number. Upcoming scoops get promoted based on this # of votes...

Please forgive my ignorance with Drigg... I am a first-time user.

Thanks!
