Hi,
I will copy here your previous explanation about the Drigg approval queue that I'm now testing:
"If you enable the "approval queue" module, then entries with a future date are NOT shown ANYWHERE. Instead, they are added to an "approval queue" -- you will see the menu entry in the navigation menu. This way, you can add stories beforehand, and then (for example) release them slowly at night."
=> not shown anywhere but are they in the sitemap and can search engines find them ? (it would be better that they aren't to give engines the feeling (!) that your website is regularly updated if you post a lot of stories in advance)
=> and if you set for example the 20th of June as future, date what will happen the 20th of June is the story is still in the Unpublished Queue (Drigg queue - UNPUB)? Do stories need to be published (in the Drigg queue - PUB) to appear on the website ?
It's a great feature to post stories in advance and still give the visitors the feeling that your website is updated when you are on vacation.
Thanks a lot!

mercmobily commentedHi,
I am happy to answer these questions, but please note that there's nothing here that wouldn't be answered by a tiny bit of testing and trial/error.

Nope, they don't show up in the sitemaps.

Yep.

wwwoliondorcom commentedSorry but even when I tried it, it was not clear, that's why I asked you, and because at first I don't understand the purpose to make things complicated with 2 queues if there is no reason to put the stories in the "Drigg queue - UNPUB" (why setting a date if you don't want to publish them?!).
(your Drigg is great and without you we wouldn't have any Digg-like module for Drupal, but as you said yourself, it's becoming VERY complicated, and even though I use it from the beginning, so I guess that somebody who just starts will have a lot of problems when trying to understand how it works).
So as I understand I just need to set a date and put all the story to publish later in the "Drigg queue - PUB", but tonight I just found out that some stories in the "Drigg queue - PUB" set to appear next week already appeared on the website, but I guess that I did something wrong (again).

mercmobily commentedHi,
Two queues are important because the "PUB" entries are considered "ready to go", while the "unPUB" ones aren't.
The ones in the PUB queue are getting promoted probably because you have something in Admin->Settings->Drigg->Drigg pproval queue -> "Autopromote 1 entry in the "approved" queue every X minutes (0 for none):"
Drigg really needs documentation. Help will be most welcome...

wwwoliondorcom commented"Autopromote 1 entry in the "approved" queue every X minutes (0 for none):"
==> exactly ! you found the reason why.
so it means that even when I set a date, entries will be promoted every X minutes whatever is the the date I decided, and if I want entries to be promoted at the date I decided when submitting I should set "Autopromote 1 entry in the "approved" queue every X minutes" to 0 (zero).
I will try this now.
Thanks again.

mercmobily commentedHi,
OK :-D
You don't HAVE to have that settings... you can just set it to "0" :-D
Bye!
