Hello,
I sometimes have a Karma error on my Drigg website, when I vote, but it's not regular and I just need to click OK.
Has anybody seen this error ?
Thanks.

alliax commentedCould you tell what the message error is?
diggfrance commentedIt only says:
KARMA ERROR !
Then I click OK and the windows closes.

mercmobily commentedHi,
Sorry I need to ask you... are you absolutely 100000% sure you are using the latest version of Drigg?
I am asking because the string "KARMA ERROR" doesn't appear to be *anywhere* in Drigg or any of its sub-modules:
[root@sys113 modules]# grep -l "KARMA ERROR" `find .`
[root@sys113 modules]#
I don't mean to doubt you, but I *seem* to remember that that "KARMA ERROR" from a couple of lifetimes ago, but I just cannot remember where it was...
Bye,
Merc.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI just installed drigg using the 'lazy way' and the drigg-distr package and noticed the user_karma module wasn't included so had to download it manually - perhaps that's the issue here...

mercmobily commentedHi,
I noticed the lack of user_karma -- thank you for letting me know! It's fixed now.
Now... I need to look into this really careful, because it's most likely to be a bug.
You really installed drigg-distr.tgz, and got that error message? Was it capital letters? Can you give me the exact module versions for the modules:
user_karma
drigg
extra_voting_forms
...?
Thanks,
Merc.

mercmobily commentedHi,
Closing because it's not possible for me to reproduce it, and the reporter disappeared.
Merc,

yossilac commentedHi,
I have just noticed this today - the pop-up says "Karma Error: error", and then you have to click OK.
The number of votes was not incremented, but the vote-box changed colors, as if I have voted.
This sometimes happens without the pop-up window.
HOWEVER - I suspected that this had something to do with my attempt to integrate the CRE module.
Once I have disabled CRE, the problem seems to have vanished (I will report if it does happen again, now that CRE is disabled).
FYI.
