Drigg is based on simple karma. But not on Simple karma says it is now obsolete and is being replaced by another module. Doesn't it make sense for drigg to use modules which are being maintained?

simple karma and drigg were dev'd by same person. Drigg won't be using simple karma either with the 1.0 release if i've read everything correctly and the 1.0 release is due 12/30

Hi,

That's correct - Drigg doesn't use simple_karma anymore. Instead, it uses extra_voting_forms and user_karma (as well as the VotingAPI).

I corrected the module's description about using simple_karma, and will release an official package soon.
