I read there http://blog-money-wiki.com/blog/2007/12/drigg-is-a-digg-like-drupal-modu...

that it's possible to import Pligg data, so does it means that you can convert a Pligg website into Drigg website easily ?

Thanks.

Hi,

Ah, that's why so many people are trying out Drigg right now :-D

You can import web sites using the Pligg Importer. I happened to have changed a _lot_ of the underlying structure of Drigg this week, so that it integrates _nicely_ with the Voting API. This is a HUGE step forward for Drigg. However, it did delay the release of Version 1 of Drigg a little bit.

I am very nearly there with the port - after which, Drigg v. 1 with the importer will be out. It woudn't be good to import data now, because the importer will assume that the old underlying structure is there.

So... give me another 4 days, and you'll have Drigg v.1.0 with the importer for Drigg v.1.0, and we'll all be merry :-D

Hi,

Well, this is a bit of a "tony moment"...
I said four days, and I ended up doing it right away.

Drigg 1.0 is ready, I am about to roll it out on FSDaily. It's a *little* scary... fingers crossed.
I will let it run for a day or so, and then release Drigg 1.0 and all its components in Drupal.

Bye,

Merc.

Hi,

Have you been having problems with Pligg, BTW?

Hi,

I am marking this as "fixed", as it's fixed in the upcoming snapshot of the module.

Bye!

I got the latest drigg module (dev snapshot) for drupal 6.0 and I see that the importer is broken. The schema of certain tables of drupal seems to have changed and the pligg importer hasn't been modified. Is there a drigg module version that does the import correctly. It used to work like a charm on drupal 5.x
