Hi,

In the taxonomy pages I group by a field common in all the nodes that are tagged by the term. Now I am trying to sort by that field that is grouping the nodes, but the query is failing to apply the sort order because of the sub query that brings all the nodes that belong to the term.

What am I missing?

So you are not trying to sort Taxonomy but fields of terms? This should be straightforward. May be fix in 7.x-2.1. I am going to close the ticket as it is many years old. If you still have problems, test with 7.x-2.1 then 7.x-2.2.
