I've create a view of taxonomy terms from a specific vocabulary and added the draggable field with the handler set to 'native'.

Reordering terms and saving them doesn't change the term weights in the database.

Ok so apparently this isn't meant to change the term weights.

What does it do then? Needs UI documentation.

I am just as confused as to what this module does exactly on the insides.

My understanding is:

If you use 'native' it saves the weights in draggableviews_structure table. It does not touch any predefine weight, such as terms. You then sort your view on these weights.

If you use 'Field API' then you are changing the field weights. I think for terms you need to use 'Field API' for terms.

I have only used 'native' draggableviews so far.

Wow this ticket is old. So taxonomy is not support yet. Search for Taxonomy in issue queue for a 1 or 2 methods with patches of how to do it.
