Hi all,
Was just wondering if Draft is compatible with FCKEditor 2.x? There's a few modules that require FCKEditor 2.x, so i'm planning on upgrading shortly, but haven't seen any commentary either way about FCKEditor 2.x.
Anyone have any experience and can confirm that it works? Thanks!

darren.ferguson commentedThe draft module is utilizing the javascript API for FCKEditor and it has been tested up until 2.6.4 version of FCKEditor and works fine with that.
If your completely unsure regarding the 6.x-2.x branch then put it on a seperate site and verify if it works. Currently their branch is a beta 1 however that is the drupal module and you always have to download the FCKEditor package seperately hence i do not believe there will be any problems if you get a 2.6.x version of the FCKEditor and install that with the new branch of the module.

Apollo610 commentedCool, thanks Darren. I was just curious if anyone else had tested with the 2.x branch.
I'm currently backing up my dev site just as a precaution, I'll report back with my experience with Draft and FCKEditor 2.x after I upgrade and put them through the ringer.

bsimon commentedSeveral months ago, I tried to get an alpha of FCKeditor 6.x-2.0 working with Draft, but I wasn't successful. My guess was that there had been some kind of significant change between FCKeditor 6.x-1.3 and 6.x-2.0, which was preventing modules like Draft from working properly.
However, I haven't revisited this issue since then, and in fact I'm running versions of FCKeditor 6.x-1.3 and Draft which are now a couple of months out of date - so maybe the problem has been fixed by now.
Here's the original issue report, anyway:

darren.ferguson commentedShould be working with it now, i tested with the 2.6.4 version and the latest FCKEditor per above, so everything should now work with draft and fckeditor
