Firstly thank you.

But for some reason this doesn't work.

When I select the reference-method (make field dependent using views) it ignores that (and the following field) and uses the default option anyway.

Consequently it does not update the desired field with the available options based on the parent field.

Any suggestions how I can troubleshoot further?
