Hi,
I currently have a ddb in our website - www.slaashann.com
I want the 6th image (the Holiday Sales image) to be displayed first. How can I change order the sequence in which the images are displayed?
Thanks in advance for your help.
regards,
Shamik

ppblaauw commentedThere are several options:
1.) Sort in the view on publish date and change the publish date in the node so you get the right order.
2.) Add an order field (like a weight field) to the content type and sort on that in the view.
3.) Use nodequeue so you can order the slides by dragging the order of the nodes.
Hope this helps you further, please let me know

shamik.dasgupta commentedHi,
I tried with the first option which you said, and it did not work unfortunately. However, when I am running the view query, then the "Holiday" page is coming first but not in the dynamic display block. I have saved the view as well. What am I missing?
Cleared browser cache as well as Drupal cache multiple times.
It is intriguing that the view query and preview is returning what I desire in the perfect order , but the DDB is not rendering it in that order.
SQL query after preview of the view below -

ppblaauw commentedThe ddblock module also has an order setting (asc, desc, random).
To use the default order of the view you need to apply a patch to add a none option
The patch can be found in the issue: http://drupal.org/node/397018 Post #2
Hope this helps you further, please let me know.
