Hi,

I have created a site with ddb and the images fade in and fade out without being displayed. I have checked in IE8 and FF 3.6 and its the problem persists for both the browsers.

I have downloaded the ddb theme gradient-blue30p from the site.

Can you please help?

Can you attach the result of the drupal_set_message debug lines or the SQL statement of the preview of the view used for the slideshow

The SQL statement of preview is below. When I look at preview, I can see the news items and the images (not themed ofcourse). If you visit www.slaashann.com, you will see that the ddb is in the home page and you will know the problem I am facing (images fading in and out without being displayed).

You need to change 4x in the preprocess functions, 2 times in each preprocess function:

$result->node_data_field_pager_item_text_field_image_fid

into 

$result->node_data_field_image_field_image_fid

Hi,

Thanks a ton. Its working now. I however have a minor problem. The "Pager Item Text" is showing in gray by default and I am not able to change it. Can you let me know how I can make it white so that it is visible? Currently, it is blending with the image transitions and hence is not visible.

Pl check home page of www.slaashann.com - the Pager Item Text for the first image in ddb is "Perennial Pink" but it is barely visible.

Should I open a separate issue?

Great its working now!!!

You can set the color of the slide-title with:

color: #fff !important;

div.slide-title h2 will become

div.ddblock-cycle-onslide-40p-B div.slide-title h2 {
  color: #fff !important; 
  margin: -5px 0px 0px;
  padding: 0px;
}

Set this issue to fixed
