I follow the steps in the Basic slideshow tutorial, but the ddblock doesn't show up in the content area, i do the following but still doesn't work
1. change the theme to drupal default
2. change the permission to allow all users to view ddblock
3. change the ddblock.js according to http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/node/928#comment-1064, coz' it caused javascript error in IE

Please advise how can i simple show the basic slideshow, did i miss something, especially for the setting?

Thanks

Did you follow the tutorial at: http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/node/928
or at: http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/tutorial

Do you have a link the where the slideshow should be on your Internet site?

I think it is from "http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/node/928" with the title of "Video tutorials brought to you by Phelsa.com".

My Internet site is @shop.coffeedeamour.com

I am wondering if there are some conflict among jquery libraries.

Thanks for your reply :)

The slideshow has only one slide. It needs at least two slides to work.

The extra jquery.js added by the theme could be a problem, but don't see a javascript error.

First add another slide and see if it works then.

Hope this helps you further, please let me know.

Thanks for looking at my site.

Yes, it doesn't show any javascript error and that's why difficult to trace.
There are two pictures in the image folder and I've set the image number
to 2.

Still see only one image at the page (/sites/default/files/display_block/tasting.jpg)

oh! you are right! I just changed the number of images back to 2 under the block configure - content section. But the ddblock only shows the title "Featured", but not the images.

Once again, I changed the theme to "Garland" for testing, but the problem presists.

Should I delete the line 118 in ddblock.js(attached for your reference) - if ( typeof( $ ) == "object" ){ - I previously added in order to avoid IE javascript error?

I see the two images now but the ddblock javascript does not run.

The first jquery.js added is by the jquery_update module I think.

The second jquery.js file is added by the theme, probably in page.tpl.php

Probably this causes the error. (can you delete or comment the line with // where it is added in the page.tpl.php file.

Hope this helps you further, please let me know

I am still getting stuck in this problem.

I changed all the files under /themes/theme306/js by changing the name from j*.js to xj*.js, but the ddblock still shows nothing but the title.
Any advise?

My ultimated target is to configure my site that looks like the demo free template of "Custom theme example (SIPALAY CITY)". I am willing to donate onto this great module and I really want it working on my site.

I see that the .js files from the theme are still applied.
